Food and Dining Experience At The Singing Cooks and Waiters ATBP | Roxas Blvd, Pasay City, Philippines

Few days before my husband's return from abroad, I researched many restaurants where he can feel that he's really back in his own beloved country. I thought that buffet restos are too mainstream and overpriced, so I decided to have our first lunch together in a Filipino themed  restaurant called THE SINGING COOKS AND WAITERS ATBP which is located in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. The façade When we arrived at the place, I was a bit discouraged because the appearance is not appealing at all. BUT! Don't judge the book by it's cover. It may look like it's an old outdated building around an unsafe part of Manila; however, you'll see that there are security guards that will welcome you and will also keep your car safe. Restaurant memorabilia: pictures of famous people who visited the place were posted on the wall. Easy Creamy Apple Pie Recipe

It's my birthday so I decided to make something sweet. Thank God, I found a recipe online that is easy and new to my taste. Right, I've never tasted an apple pie before. So, let's try.  Here we go!  Ingredients: For the Crust: 1 cup crushed graham 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 tbsp brown sugar For the Pie: 1 pack All Purpose Cream 1/4 cup condensed milk 2 medium sized apples 4 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp Dari Creme 2 tsp cinnamon powder Procedure: Mix all the ingredients for the Crust and press. Then, let it chill inside the fridge.  Pour the chilled All Purpose cream in a bowl and gradually add the condensed milk. Next, whip the mixture until thick. Then pour some of the cream to a pipping nozzle or if you don't have one, you can put it in a narrow plastic bag. Chill. 3. Wash and peel the apples with the core removed, too.
