Cafe In The Sky | Tuba, Benguet

Image
View at the restaurant's balcony If you're already fed up with the busy and crowded streets of Baguio City, I know exactly a place nearby where you can find serenity---it's called Café in the Sky !  The Cafe's facade Café in the Sky is just 30-45 minutes of foggy and winding roads from Baguio town proper.  This restaurant turned Bed&Breakfast was initially created to cater the fans of the hit Teleserye: Forevermore. Way back 2014, many people would go to Tuba,  Benguet to watch the shooting of the scenes and also to personally see their favorite artists. Just imagine how heavy the traffic jams  were on their very narrow road and how filthy the place after the sudden upsurge of tourists that shocked the locals silently living in Mt. Santo Tomas. That's why the local government unit of Tuba hand in hand with Department of Natural Resources (DENR) is limiting the entry of tourists coming in to preserve the place.  They only allow residents to...

The Old Orangewood Bed & Breakfast | Baguio City

Image
Hotel's living room Recently,  we went to Baguio for a short vacation.  A day prior, I searched for our stay using travelbook. Ph and fortunately I found THE OLD ORANGEWOOD Bed & Breakfast which is located in 20 F.  Gomez St., Lower P.  Burgos, Baguio City,  Benguet,  Philippines  2600. ROOM 💗💗💗 Wright Park Room I got the Wright Park room for less than 1,200 pesos only! It is good for two adults and my daughter stays on the same bed for free. Well,  the room is just simple with a soft, comfortable bed and a cotton blanket with fluffy pillows.   They also provide toiletries plus towels. Take note that this is a fan room and  they don't have TVs but that's fine. It's a good thing we brought our laptop with all the cartoon movies that Yuri loves.  But the primary thing that we need here is a Hot Shower which they have, thank goodness!  The water pressure is surprisingly strong. Great!  So we can fin...

Image
Eversince, I am always drawn by Ilocos. It seems like it has a lot of things to offer to people. It has historical churches, amazing natural resources and also great man-made attractions. That's why when I heard my husband telling to Ford Ilocos that we will be there the next day to have our car checked because the aircon is faulty, I made a wide grin. Lol!  We left Tuguegarao City at 3:30AM so that travelling without AC won't be a hassle. It's almost a 6-hour ride. His plan is to go home on the same day but I still packed our bags just in case. We're so happy on that day because it's all our first time to visit ILOCOS! So, we are hitting two birds with one stone; we're going to Ford Ilocos and then have an unexpected roadtrip too. I didn't researched that much because it's just a short notice. Good thing I am familiar with some of the tourist destination in Ilocos. All we need to do is Google it and just follow the directions. Patapat ...
