Hotel's living room Recently,  we went to Baguio for a short vacation.  A day prior, I searched for our stay using travelbook. Ph and fortunately I found THE OLD ORANGEWOOD Bed & Breakfast which is located in 20 F.  Gomez St., Lower P.  Burgos, Baguio City,  Benguet,  Philippines  2600. ROOM 💗💗💗 Wright Park Room I got the Wright Park room for less than 1,200 pesos only! It is good for two adults and my daughter stays on the same bed for free. Well,  the room is just simple with a soft, comfortable bed and a cotton blanket with fluffy pillows.   They also provide toiletries plus towels. Take note that this is a fan room and  they don't have TVs but that's fine. It's a good thing we brought our laptop with all the cartoon movies that Yuri loves.  But the primary thing that we need here is a Hot Shower which they have, thank goodness!  The water pressure is surprisingly strong. Great!  So we can finish taking a bath immediately.  Haha! FACILIT

Tuguegarao City is the capital of the province of Cagayan and the regional center of the valley. What makes it iconic? It's their famous PANCIT ! Every corner in every barangay have Panciterias; a restaurant that serves Pancit. There are two main types of pancits offered in the city. First one is called Batil-patong . This essentially have soft flat noodles topped with ground beef, poached egg and veggies. Then, the other one is called Pancit Cabagan . The Miki noodle is thin and nice especially topped with Lechon Kawali (deep fried pork belly) and some vegetables. Mostly, pancits are tendered with condiments like chopped onions, soy sauce, vinegar, calamansi and hot chilis plus an appetizing Caldo (egg soup). Eversince, I am always drawn by Ilocos. It seems like it has a lot of things to offer to people. It has historical churches, amazing natural resources and also great man-made attractions. That's why when I heard my husband telling to Ford Ilocos that we will be there the next day to have our car checked because the aircon is faulty, I made a wide grin. Lol!  We left Tuguegarao City at 3:30AM so that travelling without AC won't be a hassle. It's almost a 6-hour ride. His plan is to go home on the same day but I still packed our bags just in case. We're so happy on that day because it's all our first time to visit ILOCOS! So, we are hitting two birds with one stone; we're going to Ford Ilocos and then have an unexpected roadtrip too. I didn't researched that much because it's just a short notice. Good thing I am familiar with some of the tourist destination in Ilocos. All we need to do is Google it and just follow the directions.
