Mi Familia Invades El Puerto Marina | Lingayen, Pangasinan

Did you know that during the World War II, Lingayen Gulf is one of the most strategic battlefields between the Japanese  and American forces? Today,  it is nothing but a peaceful setting for locals and tourists who wants to appreciate the beauty of Pangasinan beaches.

The province of Pangasinan is an 8-hour drive from Isabela (Yeyy! I did it!) .  We have a rendezvous in Manaog so might as well pre-arrange a beach resort nearby to also experience what this region has to offer.

So,  I booked a Small Family room in EL PUERTO MARINA Beach Resort and Spa. There are various ways on how to book a room. I tried calling them first and ask to tentatively hold the room for us so I can go ahead and pay through bank deposit. After depositing 50% of the room rate,  I sent a copy of the receipt to their email for verification.  Once it's done then the room is confirmed under our name.

 Room Rate & Inclusions

Reception
The resort's check-in time is 2 p.m. Everything went smooth and the front desk welcomed us right away.  After paying the remaining balance,  One of the crew assisted us to our room and hand us over the key.

Small Family Room
We were assigned to room 101. It is situated in a 2-storey concrete building just beside the kiddie pool and adjacent to the parking area. Our room rate is 6,952.00 pesos which is good for 4 adults. We have 4 small mineral water bottles, towels, soap and shampoo but no dental kit, huge beds and cold AC.

Bungalow rooms good for 2 pax

There are also different  types of room depending on capacity ranging from 2-15 guests.

Amenities

After resting for a few minutes, we went for a walk to explore the perimeter of the resort.

Pathway to the beach
We can't help but notice the flowers in full bloom during our stay.  It's sooo lovely and definitely deserves a picture. El Puerto Marina is so immense that's why you better get yourself ready for long walks.

It's around 4 p. m. when we finally arrived at the beach. We thought that high tide is the one causing ripples on the sand but we're wrong it's the strong wind. Please see tips at the bottom of this blog.

 water sports facilities
Additionally, you can grab these boards or kayak and life jackets before you head to the beach. It's free so long ng as you are checked in from the resort.

Infinity pool

Next,  if you don't feel like wrangling with the forceful waves, you can revert back to the resort and just float calmly in the Infinity pool which is infront of the beach.

The pool is not that deep probably 4-5 feet only. Be extra careful especially if you're swimming with kids.  Please don't leave them unattended.

El Puerto Marina  have an Al Fresco type restaurant which caters their guest needs. Beside, is a fish pond where the Bungalow rooms are located.  You can fish for your food and have the kitchen staff cook it for you.  Please note that there's a fee for the bait and the "Paluto".

Filipino breakfast includes drinks and seasonal fruits

One of my criteria before booking a room is it has to have free breakfast!  They have several options from American,  Continental and of course  Filipino breakfast where you can choose from.

Aquatica Marina façade

Another Inclusion in the room rate is you'll have free access to their Aquatica Marina Water Park.

The water park is not exclusive for resort guests because other people can buy tickets if they wanna enter the premises. Aquatica Marina have long, exciting and whirling slides you can thrill to and they also have this giant bucket which pours water from time to time. Yipeee!

Kiddie pool
Lastly,  the kiddie pool must've been the best place Yuri enjoyed alot (because she's afraid of the waves 😁)  It has two separate pools; 2-3 feet and 4 feet deep.

Overall,  it was absolutely a blast staying here!  We had a clean comfortable room and most of all, the resort staff are very courteous. They will smile and greet you whenever they see you. Such a superb crew they have!  Thanks for making our stay memorable.  Ciaó! ! !👍👍👍

Tips

1. Bring a wide-brimmed hat for your protection from the sun.
2. The best time to go to the beach is in the morning because it's burning hot during noon and super windy in the afternoon like there's a sandstorm (I'm not exaggerating).
3. Bring sun glasses to save your eyes from the flying sands.  Like,  literally flying sands.
