Hof Gorei in Samal Island--- Pros and Cons That You Need To Know Before Booking

Image
What comes into your mind when you hear Samal Island? You're right! I've heard a lot of beautiful things too that's why I decided to book a trip going there. So, I bought a travel voucher on Metrodeal.com . Prior to completing the purchase, I first called the resort to validate if the offer online is legit. Well, they said yes and my preferred dates were available. I quickly paid the vouchers and booked a flight through AirAsia Zest. How to get there?  You have to fly from Manila to Davao City for approximately two hours, grab a van then ride for about 30minutes going to Sta. Ana Wharf, then lastly, take a 50-minute boat ride to reach the Garden City of SamaL Island where Hof Gorei is nestled.  If you're interested to book here please check the Pros and Cons before doing any move. PROS: 1. They have their own motorboat that'll take you from Sta. Ana Wharf going to the resort directly . But, there's a specif...

My first ink should have a meaning, of course! I decided to have something nautical like an anchor because it represents my long-time seafarer boyfriend and then adding some flowers clinging on it which symbolizes me. If you look closely, the rope of the anchor and the vines of the flower is somewhat forming the infinite sign which means "Forever...

Image
Before anything else, I want to thank God that we're still alive. It's the province' first time to experience a typhoon with a signal number 5 category. We were able to make it thru if not of this hotel. When I learned that the eye of the storm will pass thru Cagayan Valley, I already made a room reservation for my family. I'm with my Papa, Mama and my 1 year-old daughter. I don't want to risk our lives so I made this decision to evacuate and leave our beloved home before it's too late. Besides, we have two cars to save because our place is prone to flooding . You will be greeted by this colorful Koi fishes once you enter the hotel.
