Come On To CORON! Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Go There

Welcome to Coron! The home of many majestic islands that you won't get tired of exploring. If you're planning to visit there, I would highly suggest you to plan and book in advance since it's one of the major tourist spots in the Philippines. I've got here the TOP 3 reasons why you should go there.

1. It's Very Accessible. In order to go to Coron you can either fly thru local carriers like Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific Air or you can sail thru 2go Travel (2go.com.ph for tickets and inquiries). Luckily, I got a low fare thru Cebu Pacific Air. I would recommend you to subscribe with them so that you'll be informed thru email if they have promotions. It's just an hour flight from Manila so I was able to handle the turbo prop plane. Yep, it's a small plane for a small airport.

This is what the plane looks like. Its small yet safe. Thanks to all the crews who flew us in and out

2. Lots of Amazing Accomodations To Choose From. That's correct! Coron may be a small town yet there's a lot of options to choose from depending on your budget. I absolutely searched and scrutinized many hotels and resorts. Finally, I picked SUNZ EN CORON as our home for the next three days.

This is their pool. How gorgeous is that?
They open up their fountain in the morning to add excitement while you take your morning dip.

At night, their pool changes its color into red, yellow, violet to give a more dramatic effect! Perfect!

At the back of the resort is Mt. Tapyas.

Amazing room we have here! Complete with amenities.

One of my fave part of the resort. They have this cozy huts where you can dine and relax... Lovely!

3. Loads Of Breathtaking Tourist Destinations. Whenever we travel, I always avail of tour packages so that I won't have to worry about anything. Its easy, less worries and budget-friendly. Fortunately, our resort have a package that includes accomodation plus tours. I'll tell you more about it.

Day1 Arrival and Town Tour

  • We arrived early at Busuanga Airport. We're impressed because our land transfer to Coron Town is already waiting for us. It'll take 30 minutes to be there, so our tour guide gave us information and history of the town.
  • After checking in at the resort and have a lil rest, at around 2:30 PM you will be called for the town tour. You'll be visiting souvenir shops, Corong art Gallery and Coron Baywalk, Mt. Tapyas and Maquinit Hotsprings.

Get your feet ready for 700+ steps here in Mt. Tapyas. Once you reach the top, you'll be overlooking the quiet town of Coron.

Thank God I survived it with my knees shaking! 😂😁

After conquering the mountain, our next destination is Maquinit Hotsprings. I'm not a fan of hotsprings...yeah, but I still tried to dip myself in. I enjoyed our snack though, as part of the package.
