Bihon Guisado Ala Ybanag

My daughter Yuridia loves eating all types of pancit and pasta because she enjoys sipping the noodles. This time, I cooked Bihon Guisado since we still have a lot of packed bihon noodles stocked in our kitchen. Go on get your apron and cook with me! πŸ”ͺ🍴

Ingredients:

pack Bihon noodles
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 med onion, sliced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 kg chicken heart & gizzard, cut into strips
1/4 kg pork, cut into strips
5 tbsp soy sauce
1 large carrot, strips
1 medium sized cabbage
1 stalk celery
1 green onion (scallion)
1 small red bell pepper
5-10 cups of water
1 chicken broth cube
salt and pepper

Procedure:

1.In a bowl, mix the chicken heart, gizzard and pork slices then add soy sauce plus pepper. Set aside and prepare other veggies needed.
2. Saute garlic and onion until translucent. Add the meat mixture that you made from step #1.
3. Once the meat is cooked, add the carrots. Stir fry for a minute then add water and chicken broth cubes.
4. Bring the waiter to boil then add the Bihon noodles (Note: Soak the noodles for at least 5 minutes  first)
5. Add all the other veggies to the noodles and mix until its cooked. Do not overcook. Season with salt and pepper. if you want a darker noodle just add more soy sauce but make sure to control it or else it will become too salty.
6. Serve with lemon or calamansi. Enjoy!

Here's my daughter with her empty plate already. She likes to eat it with her bare hands because she's not used to spoon and fork yet. 😊 So just imagine how messy the floor was! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

See you on my next cooking sesh! Ciao!
