Chicken Macaroni Salad Recipe

Hello, I feel you mommies. We're the busiest during the holiday season. So here's an easy and healthy chicken macaroni salad best for the family.  Ingredients 250 g elbow macaroni pasta (cooked according to package directions; drained) 250 g chicken breast (boiled and shredded) 1 cup pineapple tidbits 1/2 cup pickles relish 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (cut into small cubes) 1/2 cup raisins 1 small carrots, peeled and grated 2 celery stalks (chopped and cubed) 1 med sized onion (finely chopped) 470 ml mayonnaise salt and pepper to taste Procedure Easy. Just toss all ingredients in a salad bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper then mix well. Serve chilled. There you have it! A yummy side dish that can complement many main course! This is my king ham for our new born King, Jesus! Did you received a ham as a giveaway from your office? Now, here's the perfect recipe for you to cook this coming New Year's Eve! All you need is just 4 easy to find ingredients. Ingredients 1 ham 1 small can pineapple juice 1 small can of pineapple slices (reserve syrup) 1 cup of pure honey Procedure 1. Cut the ham in diamond patterns then in a thick pot, put the pineapple juice, reserved syrup, pineapple slices and the ham including its sauce from the packaging. 2. Simmer it for 20 minutes in low fire. After that, carefully take out the ham and pineapple slices. Set aside then continue boiling the sauce until it thickens. Make sure to keep stirring to prevent the sauce from burning. 3. Next, generously brush up sauce onto the ham then place it on a baking pan. Bake it using an oven or you can also use a turbo broiler just ensure that you cover it with foil first to evenly cook the ham.

Home-made Churro is a must-try!!! I know it's all over malls and its pretty affordable but cooking it at home gives you a nice bonding moment with your family.  Just like puto bungbong ( a purple colored dessert made with rice cooked in bamboo tubes )  and bibingka  (a type of Filipino rice cake), Churros are also one of the popular desserts eaten   es pecially during the holidays or after a cold  simbang gabi (early morning mass). Ingredients Churros: 1 cup water 1/2 cup butter 1 cup all purpose flour 3 eggs, beaten 1/4 tsp salt Vegetable oil 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional) Chocolate dip: 1 cup milk 1 tbsp sugar 2 oz dark chocolate 1 tsp cornstarch Procedure 1. To make a dough: combine water, butter & salt in a non-stick pan then bring to boil. Next, add in the flour then stirr vigorously using a wooden spoon until it forms a ball. Hickory Baby Back Ribs Recipe

My latest obsession is BABY BACK RIBS.  Whenever I go to a restaurant that's the first thing that a check on their menu. Since it's a bit expensive on restaurants,  why don't I make a home-cooked Baby back ribs? I'm sooo thrilled with the outcome.  Here's what we need: Ingredients 1/2 kilo pork ribs 1 pack Hickory Barbecue sauce or regular BBQ sauce will do 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp chili powder (depends on your preference)  5 cloves of garlic Seasonings Procedure 1. Combine all dry ingredients and rub  it to the pork.  Add the wet ingredients then marinade it for at least 30 minutes or overnight using old ice cream containers your mother has been keeping. 😂  2. Cover it with foil to evenly cook the meat without burning the top first. Next,  put it in a turbo broiler with a temperature of 250 ° C for an hour or until the meat is tender.  You can also bake it in an oven instead if you like. 

Orange Chocolate Cake Recipe

One day,  Yuri and I were in a supermarket then I saw on the "Baking Needs" section this recipe at the back of a cake mix box.  So I decided to give it a try for the holidays.  Ingredients Cake: 1 pack Maya Decadence Devil's Food cake mix 550g 1/4 cup vegetable oil  1 cup water 2 eggs 1 tbsp orange extract  Chocolate Whipped Cream: 2 tbsp cocoa powder  1/2 tbsp orange extract 1/2 cup whipping cream,  chilled & whipped  Chocolate Butter Icing: 1/2 cup butter  2 cups confectioner's sugar 1/4 cup cocoa powder  1/4 cup whipping cream                         Procedure Prepare cake: 1. Preheat oven to 350° F/177° C or you can also use a steamer if you don't have an oven like me.   Grease the sides & bottom of a 6x3 inch round pan.  Set aside.  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.  Beat until well-blended.  3. Put the mixture in the prepared pan.  Bake/steam for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inse

Christmas is fast approaching!  Its high time for most of the people to travel and have a much awaited vacation with their family and friends.  Me? Oh I'll be having a cold Christmas (literally & figuratively speaking). Since we're #TeamLDR we have never ever spent holidays together, sadly.  But hey,  we're fine! Let's say we've celebrated the holidays in advance during his vacation last August. My husband have been to many countries but have never been to Baguio. So,  come on travel back the memories with me! Why Baguio?  This small town on top of the mountain of Cordillera is called The Summer Capital of the Philippines.
