2Days 1Night Itinerary for Puerto Galera First Timers | Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro

Image
During long vacations like the Holy Week,  people usually go somewhere to unwind from their crazy busy lives.  One of the best go-to places is in PUERTO GALERA ! Why?  You'll find it out on this blog.  Day 1                 How to get there?  At Batangas Port Unlike Boracay,  you don't need to fly just to reach Puerto Galera. The gateway going here is through Batangas Port.  From Metro Manila,  there are various bus lines that offers a ride to and from Batangas City for about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. We took off with JAM liner from Buendia. Onboard the motorboat Upon arrival in Batangas Pier,  you can purchase your tickets going to wherever you need to go in Mindoro.  Our destination is in White Beach where the party is more fun!  We didn't actually have any hotel reservation when we traveled  because it's off season anyway.  But it's okay! At...

Mi Familia Invades El Puerto Marina | Lingayen, Pangasinan

Image
Did you know that during the World War II, Lingayen Gulf is one of the most strategic battlefields between the Japanese  and American forces? Today,  it is nothing but a peaceful setting for locals and tourists who wants to appreciate the beauty of Pangasinan beaches.  The province of Pangasinan is an 8-hour drive from Isabela ( Yeyy! I did it! ) .  We have a rendezvous in Manaog so might as well pre-arrange a beach resort nearby to also experience what this region has to offer.  So,  I booked a Small Family room in EL PUERTO MARINA Beach Resort and Spa . There are various ways on how to book a room. I tried calling them first and ask to tentatively hold the room for us so I can go ahead and pay through bank deposit. After depositing 50% of the room rate,  I sent a copy of the receipt to their email for verification.  Once it's done then the room is confirmed under our name.   Room Rate & Inclusions Reception...

Building Our Dream Home Step 1: Building Permit Requirement and Fees

Image
Happy New Year everyone! This 2018, we are going to slowly start the construction of our home. I'm absolutely excited and overwhelmed because I will be the one to supervise the entire crew. So that means less travels for this year 😭😭😭 for our long term family goals. Anyhow, when I found the right design for my dreamhouse, I consulted my husband if he is cool with it. After a few changes, he eventually agreed. I think that's a key to a good relationship. You have to exchange views, meet in the middle and both agree about everything in the end. To tell you the truth,  at first we really didn't care about this permit until I attended the seminar for CAGELCO (Cagayan 1 Electric Cooperative) and their requirement #1 is a Building permit.  Here's how I got it: 👇👇 Disclaimer: All information on this blog is solely based on my experience.
